I still read Todderick's recruiting articles. COMPLETELY different feel.
Not worth it as it comes with the other stuff. I prefer to read more factual information on here and from the APP which I think does a pretty good job.

Raritan, i dont know why you feel the need to stick up for that site, maybe you are not familiar with their history but it is non stop negative articles... I went on before MSU and every article...what a joke they think they are catering to Rutgers fans because fans dont want that exaggerated nonsense....
I still love how their main description for the arrests is something like " a series of home burglaries and assaults... Wasnt it one or two attempted robberies (of a drug dealer no less not a home!) and it was definitely only one fight that the other 5 were involved in even though we dont know who exactly threw a punch or what provoked it... I am familiar with what people's opinions are, I just disagree and think people are overly sensitive. It isn't his job to write warm and fuzzies. That said I am wondering what articles before the MSU game you are referring to. Looking back at the ones he wrote I see:
An article on the keys to the game for a RU win, a Q&A with Keith Lumpkin, staff predictions, article on Carroo's statement about being back, article on us wanting revenge for them running up the score, article on what Carroo's role will be, another on the secondary being tested by Connor Cook, update on the alums in NFL, Purdue giving RU hope, injury report, etc etc
So based on that can you continue your thought about every article...as I am not seeing anything objectionable.
The Carroo article is pretty useless, but I clicked on it so they win.

That's what always got me about their articles. It's one paragraph of new material than 10 paragraphs rehashing wants gone wrong at RU since the Revolutionary War. That's called having an agenda and why I stopped reading them.

The very first one pisses me off, actually. Why in the hell would Carroo have thoughts of regret after being speedily reinstated to the team and having near-MVP level numbers in helping his team go toe-to-toe with the #5 one in the country?
And after being told no, rehashing all the bad stuff that has happened since the beginning of the season is bush league.
Wait a second, the post was about Dan Duggan. Now you are railing about media in general. The article you mention about GPA was not Duggan it was Sargeant. I agree that Politi has an agenda. I agree that since moving from Courier to Ledger Sargeant's pieces have a new angle to them. I agree Sullivan has an axe to grind.
In regards to Duggan once you move past his introduction with the Tyree story his articles have been fair which is all you can ask. As my posts before show he really hasn't had a negative slant and instead is writing on multiple viewpoints of the team (player profiles, keys to games, what we need to do to upset, status of Indiana's players...etc).
Even the Carroo article today, I think is fair. Is it not fair to ask a kid who could have been in the NFL last year and therefore not have been outside Hale after Wazzu if he wished he had gone?
Why would he regret? Because had he gone to the NFL he wouldn't have been outside the Hale Center and have the stigma (rightly or wrongly) of being someone involved in an altercation with a woman which could cause his 2016 daft stock to drop.
Someone writing the truth in the articles put out shouldn't be a problem for any RU fan,
but when the truth is spun into something more then it is, that's a problem.
The Star Liar spins many of RU's mistakes into bigger problems than they are.
Also keeps harping on the mistakes Rutgers has made far longer than necessary.
Remember the Liar is a rag that has put down RU for years and at one time it got so bad that RU Fans took out an ad to show how the Star Ledger was spinning the facts into something completely different than what was going on.
Even then the Ledger gave RU fans something to complain about about that ad, it placed the ad paid for RU fans in a section where hardly anyone went to.
That ad bought and paid for by RU supporters was placed in a section different from where it was expected to be when that ad was placed and paid for.
Those of you defending that rag or getting on those putting it down , should remember how that rag has covered the RU FB program ever since it started to make a move to get better.

We've been dealing with this for years with the star ledger!!! How can people defend them!! It drives me nuts!!! Im tired of Rutgers getting no respect around here!!
Every single person at work said something about the spike to me at least 20 people! But you know what my response was, but that means they were watching! And glued for that matter because it was the last play of the game so that means they watched til the very end... But i got soo many props for hanging in there with msu and im noticing casual fans are tuning in more...and every game i make it a point to bring people that never been before and they all are amaZed at what an electric atmosphere is and they want to come back...yet some lifelong season ticket holders are canceling their tickets for bone head reasons.... I was screaming my head off all game and when msu lined up for either the punt or fg i was the only one yelling at the top of my lungs block that kick! Block that kick! I didnt stop and other Rutgers fans were looking at me like i was nuts but what happened they blocked it and everyone went nuts around me and high five me!! We need true fans that support the team and the coach no matter what...some of you are miserable back stabbers...

He didnt try to change the grade at all just went above and beyond for his player and risked his career for a player .... I went right down the list from today through the entire week of MSU. Didn't exclude one. So I would not call that cherry picking.
Like I said cherry picking. Try researching his article starting from January 2015 and I'm sure it will be very different than the fluff stuff you found this week.
