If this score holds this will be an interesting sports talk week in South Florida. The U fan base is split much like ours. Half think Shannon just needs time to recruit and turn things around, while the other half is still extremely pissed that Paul Dee (the former AD) went with the bargain basement hire and believes Shannon doesn't have the makeup to be a head coach.

If 90/10 is split, then I guess you're right, but most State fans I know think Croom has had his chance and failed. Miserbaly failed.

I think the Gene's Page mentality represents a good portion or our fan base. Those are the types that are back on board because we beat an overrated Vandy team. Hell, a portion or our fan base thinks Croom should be our coach forever since he is such a "good man," regardless of wins and losses.
