Loved Jackson and Searl. It was a really tough year (1971?) when injuries forced them to play offense with Searl at QB and Jackson as a RB. They did a heckuva job though.

Tate you're right about injuries! We had an excellent 1st unit (especially on D), then injuries took a brutal toll! Really sad because that squad started 4-0 ( wins over Fla & Stanford included). We were nationally ranked, and then staggered home 6-5.....
