The only thing that slightly tarnishes the title is the controversy surrounding the quarterfinal game against Maryland.

Without that fortunate call, UVA never gets past the Terps and are not in a position to win two games last weekend.

That having been said, they beat Duke and Yale fair and square; for this reason, I am at peace with them as champs.

Saturday loss was crushing. Up 2 with 1:21 and ball at midfield. Poor pass on clear, UVA gets posession & our defense is standing around flat footed. Knew they would tie it.

That simple pitch and catch blunder IMMEDIATELY turned things back in their favor.....Destined for OT right at that point even 2 goals up, given our horrid performance on faceoffs. OFC

O'Neill is going to be an absolute baller. I wonder if Coach Danowski is going to start him out at attack from day 1. Would love to see him on a midfield line with Nakeie and Cam Badour. I think those three together would be a nightmare for opposing rosters.

Duke also has five recruits (two from 2019, three from 2020) looking to earn a spot on the 2020 U19 World Championship roster...

*Jake Caputo
*Aidan Danenza
*Brennan O'Neill
*Connor Drake
*Cole Krauss

The final stage of the tryout process commenced today and culminates on Sunday....The roster of 50 will be cut to a training squad of 30 that will compete over the course of the next year...23 will make the official roster.

Those are the most lacrosse sounding names I’ve ever seen.

For that matter, Joey Spallina, is probably going to be #1 in 2022...

Might as well just recruit the entire 91 Crush roster, including stealing Xavier Arline from that school who wears a different shade of blue.
