He was rated close to top ten overall and 2nd or 3rd SF ranked,, 6'5" 220..
Should be SEC ready from day 1
Should be able to provide solid defense at least
Think he will go to Miami
Or maybe he realized the kind of "jamming" that Duke does.
Saw this coming. Duke flat out recruits over players. Don't be shocked if they're going after another forward that made Shelton decide to decommit.
I am even confused why Foster comes back

He must’ve watched the ball-hog Boozers in the all star game and realized he’ll never touch the ball.
Ngongba and Brown, plus another wing, Harris. I think they are going after some portal players too. He probably saw the writing on the wall.

They won't be sucking with that squad. May take a while to jell but that will be a tough out NCAAT time.
They've lost Kon Knueppel to the NBA. now 5-Star recruit Shelton Henderson has decommitted. You can pretty much figure that Cooper Flagg & Tyrese Proctor will follow Knueppel to the NBA. And now it's looking like they're going to lose 5-Star recruit Nate Ament to Tennessee. Duke might be ready to take a major step backward.
Proctor I think turns pro, Foster and Evans, not sure. Henderson wasn't recruited over, he is very good and would have played even if everyone comes back. he was the #2 SF behind AJ Dybantsa.
Brown - 6-8 forward - played 15 mpg averaged 2.5 points.
Foster - 6-5 guard - played 14 mpg and averaged 5 points. (he played 25 mpg as a freshman, so had his minutes cut almost in half.
Evans - 6-6 guard - played 13 mpg, averaged 6.8 points.
Ngonba - 6-11 center - played 10 mpg, averaged 4 points.
If they do not sign some portal guys, lots of production to replace. Losing Henderson hurt, big time. Stojakovic is picking up some steam to Duke.

Maulach is headed to the draft also I believe. Lots of potential with him at the defensive end in the NBA. Averaged 8/7 in just 20 mpg as a feshman. Very athletic, rim runner, shot blocker, rebounder.
Duke didn't do a single thing to help that guy improve. He has shoulders like a 12 yr old, no game other than finishing lobs and blocking shots-and even then-several times 6'7 guys were scoring at the rim on him. Typical Duke big--they hype up, waste that potential. But he was delivered by Luol Deng to them on a tee, so they got to waste his time/set back his development. He needs to get to the NBA and a team will make him lift weights, get squared up and see if he can do anything other than what he's shown. 0 rebounds in a game against a physical team like Houston is a huge red flag for anything translating to the next level. Hell getting punked on the court by Amari Williams raised enough flags for his future in a grown man's league.
