This might help our chances with Tyler Adams. From what I saw of Adams today, we need him in maroon and white. Good news at least.

Quite the talented group of brothers right there.

As for Adams, it could help, sure. But at the same time teams need more than 1 post player and great players usually dont run from competition.

Duke is going to be a perimeter team next season and will have a need for post players come 2011.

as far as depth goes, they still are looking at a power forward that's in NC too. If he commits to Duke as well, would be absolutely huge.

I promise, we don't want him. He struggled to even be a factor against a Tupelo team that was well undersized, albeit that Tupelo team won some games. He played soft and never asserted himself on the offensive end. Vernon Goodridge esque.

Moultrie will rarely play center for us. Moultrie won't play small forwad, but he would be able to in certain matchups, like Osby. MSU getting Arnette means nothing with our getting Adams or not. Do a little research on Adams and Moultrie and you can easily see that they are two completely different players. Also, I watched Adams at Mississippi College yesterday at the Mississippi All Star game. He is raw and needs some work offensively. He looked out of shape, but he was a man against boys down low. MSU could definitely use him and there is a reason Coach K personally went to Brandon High School to recruit and offer Adams.

I've seen Adams play a couple of years in a row and he continues to improve each year. Once he gets in a college weight program he is going to be a really good low post player.
