Hate to say it, but I'm starting to feel this way myself.
Well everyone has their points and Grayson validated them on his own but I'm not giving up on the kid. But if he does leave I'll support him either way.
He shouldn't be playing injured and I'm sticking to that. Emotions get the best of you when your trying to do to much but can't do what you know your used to doing.

I like to hear J Williams defending Grayson. Hell if you're a competitor, sh$t happens.

I just don't understand how anyone can rationally think that's a technical. Even the halftime crew, who I've found sometimes to not be very rational, agreed. It was a technical because Grayson Allen did it.

Now, we can have the conversation that he shouldn't have done it. I'm fine with that. That's the most frustrating thing about this....Grayson isn't able to get it in his head that people are watching him more closely than other players.

Shooting 3-12 from 3 pt line with Luke being 1-9 from the floor. Clemson makes 16 FT's. We had a stretch where the guys were loose with the ball resulting in easy points. Game is tied, I think we will right the ship and still win by 8 pts.

I am really not trying to be a downer but I don't understand why some get there hopes up over and over. Go back and look at all of out early exits over the years. Whatever dumb ways we find a way to lose during the season is the same way we will lose in the tourney. Its like clockwork.

We will have a 7-10 point lead against a team and be in control only to lose on Tatum jacking up a bad fadeaway jumper at the end of the game. Book it.

I've defended Allen plenty..you are damn right he plays by different rules..and that's totally on him!

Call it whatever you want...he has done it to himself...he has no self control when things are going poorly...his act is worn thin...and so is defending him...

It's called being fans. Most of us don't follow sports as life and death. We don't it as a way to break up the stresses of everyday life. Some just aren't cut out for it.

Maybe I'm a straight homer, but that is exactly what I thought. Honestly, if Allen just bounced the ball hard and caught it, it doesn't get called. The ball got away from him and made it seem more than it was.

You are right, he should not have done it to begin with, but that is a quick trigger.

At this point in the season I don't know how myself or anyone else is shocked at what we are seeing. We have seen this all year and if we don't figure it out quick we will play this game and one more and the season will be over.

Then you probably should leave. This is a Duke board. He's likely not going to get buried here.

Hell, everything went Clemson's way. Duke 'get all the calls' Blue Devils shoot 4 fts, the Tigers shoot 18, Grayson called for another BS technical (and his 3rd foul), Luke 1 for 9 from the field, and we're tied. I like our chances to pull this out if Duke can make any shots, and if the refs can contain themselves and not call a couple of T's on Grayson while he dangerously sips Gatorade on the bench by raising his elbow to his shoulder.

Think we all need to take a "chill pill" here. Let's hope this is Tourney jitters. "K" will settle them down for the 2nd half.
Go Duke!

To each his own I guess. For me, having realistic expectactions helps me brace for the inevitable.

I liked the first 10 mins or so. I thought we played well on D and took some good shots that just didn't go in. Tatum had two 3's that were in and out. The last 10 mins were a little rough, but I think we played down to Clemson.

We shot poorly, game is tied. I like us in the second half to come out calm, make some shots, establish a ten point lead and hold on to win by 8-12 points.

We got this.

Go Duke!

And that's the problem...he's enabled to continue...thus the problem...

Nobody is enabling him. He plays with emotion and that's not going to change. I'll have your back if he reverts to the Elon game, but he, or any player for that matter, should be called for that technical.

I'm not sure anyone is claiming cutting the nets down. But call me homer or too optimistic or whatever, but I 100% believe we will and should beat Clemson. We'll talk about tomorrow's game later.

Good start to 2nd half. If things go the way they have all season Clemson will be back to within 1 in the next 3 minutes
