Our final tune-up before the ACC opener against Boston College up in Chestnut Hill. In fact, three of Duke's first four ACC games are on the road.

I think we should roll in this one. I watched them play last month against Virginia and it was ugly.

I like us big. The game is not on national television, but will be aired on your regional Fox or Roots sports network.

Another team that shoots and makes a ton of 3's. They're hitting 39% as a team from 3...but again (as with Elon) their 3 point defense is atrocious at 37%. We should have good looks again.

Hopefully we can continue to improve our play as a unit, and Grayson is feeling a little better. He is still fighting the remains of the flu bug (lost 8 lbs. according to "K"), so let's hope he is getting stronger. If Luke can continue his good shooting, Duke will win this one going away!
Chase, it's time to take your maturity one step further.

Should win this one but wins are going to be harder and harder to come by, come ACC time.
Hopefully we can communicate better on the defensive end today and stop leaving wide open shooters.

I just checked for those who can get ESPN3 the game is on there. I don't use TWC or a dish. I have a Roku where I subscribe to ESPN plus a lot of other channels. For $25.00 a month I get ESPN, ESPN2 ,ESPN3, ESPNNEWS, ESPNU several a couple of conference networks a a couple of other sports channels. I got curious and checked it the schedule for ESPN3 showed the Duke/Long Beach St. game on at 4:00 p.m. Guess I will know then. OFC

I have Cablevision on Long Island, and the game is listed as being on the YES network at 4 pm. For me, that's channel 70. Hope so.

I am really nervous come acc time. I love duke but right now this team is a 500 at best acc team, I hope I am wrong

It's not a strong Duke team..they will look bad a lot the rest of the season.

Especially playing only seven guys with Amile out.

getting out rebounded by a large margin - that's a desire stat not a size stat...and that would be a troubling trend

I think they need to utilize Ingram more in the high/low post with zero post presence on this team.

it amazing how many misses we have at the rim - i was at the Utah game and it was the same....lots of misses close. A lead at this point is a late Xmas gift

Played well the last three minutes...I think it's difficult to play really hard for 40 minutes when everyone has to play a majority of the game.

Shots weren't falling and LBSU is good on the drive which Duke is weak with. They'll adjust to zone at the half and win by 15-20. Incidentally, LBSU is probably going to represent the Big West in the tourney. They are a good team.
