Pretty much. And call it a hunch, but the people saying Capel would be an upgrade are the same one's who would throw him off a bridge right now.
It feels like I'm reading a damn Kentucky board. Again, most on here had Duke either winning or losing a close game. I've thought all a long it would take awhile to get everything worked out. The players are having to figure everything out as well as the coaches. If we don't win 3 of our next 4 then I'll be shocked and worried.
I think last year team was definitely better. This team doesn't do many things well.

If you allow Anas Mahmoud to look like an All-ACC player, you probably aren't playing great basketball.
ACC road wins are tough to come by even when you have a full roster and your head coach - and I don't mean that to sound like an excuse. Duke hasn't plenty on hand to still be better than they are.

No better now than the team that lost at Louisville last year. However that was more of a TEAM. I would be shocked to see this much more hyped group win at UNC, like last yr's group...Still early, but need Amile back desperately.

No, that line was begging for Duke money. The goal is for the money to be split evenly between the 2 teams in every game, which is a guaranteed win for the books because of the juice.
Duke isn't a underdog often, even when we have a weaker team by our standards. If they wanted L,Ville money, they would've made the game a pick or Duke a small favorite. That wasn't the case. Setting the line where they did opened the floodgates for Duke money line bets at plus money because Duke "isn't going to lose 2 in a row". None of those bets cashed and the books takes it in.
Same scenario with FSU/UNC. FSU drills Duke but were a 8 point underdog yesterday to the heels. That line was begging for FSU money. You get the team that just trounced Duke and 8 points to boot. It's too good be true. Over 80% of the dollars wagered at my book yesterday on the FSU/UNC game were on FSU. The books raked it in again.
Thanks dj, it it were not for my strange sense of humor, even though it is often mistimed, I would have died many years ago from a stroke or a hear attack.
