This team has very little basketball IQ. You can see that in how long it takes to adjust to things. In a half of basketball we haven't adjusted to the screener slipping to the rim. With that said the energy is much much better, especially the first 10 minutes. We need to keep contesting everything. To be honest this team needs to find success there is a lot of tension growing and we need a stress release valve somewhere

We're pretty fortunate to be down four points. Have to make some outside shots in the second half. I'd like to see us make some entry passes into the post....we haven't since Amile went down. It might create a little better spacing. Right now we're incredibly easy to guard.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Duke is showing some signs of playing better defense. They've had some breakdowns, but still have played better in spurts. It's a process, it's not going to happen all at once.
And hopefully Louisville has hit their quota of 3 pointers for the game.

We need some sort of jolt at the half. Neither team had a great half. I'm thinking the first 5 minutes of the second half will determine the outcome. Come on guys!

The outside shot is being crowded so hard, gotta get some interior scoring to be able to draw in and kick out. Amile makes a difference in that regard.

This is kinda dumb but does Duke not have no one outside of Luke and Allen that can score oh a Tatum? Matt is playing good but what is the deal with the bigs

I HOPE they just don't collapse on D in the 2nd half OAD! Your right! Defense shows great signs of being better from what I saw in the first half!

I love the idea, but when chase is on the floor it's almost a turnover for him to touch the ball. It's infuriating we have to give him minutes because he plays with the energy we desire. He's still not ready, but it is what it is until one of the younger guys takes his minutes from him

We have to hit some of the open 3s Jones and Jackson are allowed when Luke gets doubled....2 out of 7 on 3s 1st half. Once Jackson starts nailing it, we become even tougher on O!

The backdoors to bucket far too easy for U of L and when we ran zone we were basically standing in cement...Must be more active...Still very much in game though!

I know we have been comparing Tatum to rivers but how about this comparison, Carmelo Anthony? I don't mean that in a flattering way. He's a ball stopper on offense.

Agreed. The major quibble that I have with this team is the apparent lack of consistent effort from certain guys in effort scenarios. The freshmen look paralyzed by indecision at times on both ends of the floor. It would be nice to see some more energy to make up for those shortcomings. Shots might not be falling, but everyone can hustle (not trot like a showpony)!

It's pretty telling of Bolden that he can't steal minutes from Jeter.

I agree with whoever said we need to feed the post to get some better spacing. Cut down on the unforced turnovers and we will win this thing.

I'm not picking on any of the bigs especially when none have looked like they are involved in the offensive scheme and none play hardly.

With so much higth this team still plays small ball and relies on the three.

Can we please get an even whistle or slightly even. If Tatum travelled in the first half how is that Louisville dunk not a travel
