I watched that over and over and it is ridiculous and so unprofessional for anyone from espn to even suggest that was a trip. This goes all the way to the top. I believe the head man at who is an unc alumni might very well be steat. It's time for Jay Bilas to step up. I'm a supporter of Jay but with all the respect he gets he needs to say enough is enough. OFC
I can't even believe they think that was a trip. I hope we destroy them Thursday!!! I also hope nothing happens with Grayson or ESPN will have a special dedicated just to his trips

I don't know if I've ever heard Bilas speak ill of his employer, tho.

ESPN needs to take a serious look at its "journalists"....with all the felons, wife beaters and drug arrests out there they want to focus on one young man and make every imperceptible contact with his foot a tripping foul. They should be embarrassed and someone needs to call them out and tell them to cut it out. All the commentators should stand up and be counted against this stupid perpetuation of a kid out of control. This was nothing but one foot hitting another - accidentally...but called a foul.

By the way, we just won our third ACC game in a row. The previous 2 were on the road, one against a ranked team that usually takes us to the woodshed.

This is the second game in a row where Grayson hit the biggest shot. Both shots were a 3 when the opposition closed the gap. That's clutch.

Let's keep this up. Keep fighting fellas. :)

I haven't defended Grayson's tripping incidents from the beginning. I thought he should have been given at least 3 games suspension. I hope he is receiving counseling for his anger issues which he has. I support his captain title being taken from him. I understand the boos every where he plays. If I were an opposing fan I'd boo too. But there is a line out there and it has been crossed and enough is enough. The throwing of things at him and team mates is wrong and I hold the other team their coach and security responsible because they can do something about it. If this continues some one is going to be hurt and it may not even be Grayson. Grayson is not a serial killer or mass murderer. He is not a terrorist. He is not a sex offender on his or any other campus. He doesn't beat women yet he is scrutinized by the sports media more than athletes that commit felonies. For the life of me I don't understand why other than he goes to Duke. I hope we win the national championship and he score 40 points in the title game vs. unc for our 4th win over them this year. I'm tired of it. OFC

There's not a lot I can do about it individually but at least I can tell whoever reads this how I feel about. OFC

Amen my friend....There's a microscope on GA now and the fact hes at Duke is the reason as you noted. Grant Hill handled the situation so eloquently today, clearly pointing out it was nothing out of the norm basketball play. Nobody ever questions Grant Hill's credibility- he praise both teams, calls it down the middle and NEVER makes himself bigger than the game....Bill Raftery never questioned it either....

But good ole espn who wasn't even covering the game just knew for sure it was a trip. espn is as irresponsible as the mainstream media is to politics and play to the ignorance of their viewers. OFC

ESPN is now inserting politics into their coverage which is just another reason to avoid that channel except when they carry a Duke game. I don't know how they deemed it necessary to infiltrate us with an athletes opinion on a political matter. Since when did that become relevant to sports.

Yeah, it's just sickening, Bluedevil42. It's getting harder and harder to sit down, relax, and enjoy a game anymore. And this year, because of this, I've watched less sports than any year in my life (and I'm always at home now). Duke, and a few other college basketball games are just about all I watch.

Well you know who the head of ESPN is and where he went to school. That school, city, and county are full of a certain political affiliation. There may be some of that party on this board, but when you bring it into sports, you're just a pathetic individual.

Guys, we have to stop saying to the Media, "How stupid can you be?" - They seem to be taking it as a challenge!
Myself, I still LAUGH every time the KETCHSUP BOTTLE makes a FART NOISE!'

Said this a few weeks ago,imo the way the refs have allowed other players to take cheap shots at him is disgraceful and more dangerous than any of his tripping incidents.I played D-1 football and if one of my teammates had been the victim of this I would cleaned someone's clock.I know that it is not PC but it may be time for someone to do this

Hey no worries....ESPN figured it was fine for Michelle Beadle to declare open season "KO" on Grayson....In the meantime speaking of ESPN, Seth Greenberg you blew it again recently just like you blew it on the sidelines:Grayson has really looked "distracted" nailing clutch shots for the Devils in recent games....Lmao....go home you bitter old has been....,

I'm still pizzed off about her. Awhile back , K noted that ESPN had an on-line poll...."Name Your Most Hated Duke Player" or something similar. Anyway , he correctly noted the race element involved and how such a poll would be criticized if it was named , say , "Name The Most Hated Hoya." It's the same thing here. Some white chick openly calls for an AA athlete to be physically attacked?!?!?! Sounds crazy even as I type the words. No how no way does that ever happen. At all. Much less have her 2 AA co-hosts publicly sign-off on it?!?! Again , it's insane to even type it much less have it really happen. It would be years before she ever got a tv gig again and if she did it would be doing weekend weather reports in the smallest market willing to hire her. That said , I wanna vent on the other thing stickin' in my craw about it. This sheet is orchestrated by ESPN. That's not tin-foil hat/black helicopters conspiracy either. It's real. Yes , Grayson did this to himself. What he DIDN'T do is force ESPN to cover it the way they do. No one defends Grayson. Yes , he was wrong. But ESPN is goin' all out now. After yesterday even Duke-haters were callin' 'em out for it. Anyway , what makes it an obvious orchestration on their part are things...

1) John Skipper is a hole

2) John Skipper loves 'im some "carolina way." And...

3) John Skipper has gone above and beyond the call of duty to bury the unx scandal. He just has. It's obvious. tOSU had their tatoo thing , USC & Reggie Bush , the U is in and out of trouble , an SEC team often makes headlines for the wrong reasons , I've seen that girl get knocked out more times than I saw a Rhonda Rousey vid etc. All of those ( and others ) were/are milked for maximum benefit. Not one of 'em is worse than unx....ok hittin' a chick is pretty depraved but the others have nuthin' on the cesspool at unx. Check this out. Bob Lee is a unx alum , btw...

Good line used by Mel Cooley in the original "Dick Van Dyke Show." So true....

Agree totally w/your perception of Beadle's stance on this. She went after the GREAT DUKE WHITE PLAYER, and knew she was on SAFE GROUND racially speaking(K made an excellent analogy - she picked a very SAFE SITUATION per her venting, and was going for public opinion popularity.) Instead she got quite the backlash except from Skipper of course....As you say even some Duke haters were turning in whats becoming a really sleazy operation yesterday....
