Duke is 2-9 from 3. I'll show some high level basketball analysis and say that pace ain't going to cut it for a team this depleted.

Duke hasnt done anything well.... seems like we should be zoning much more. RI's attack is gonna take a toll

We're playing to win. This kind of seems like an "identity-type" game for this team. They need the win. We have a light week with two opponents we should roll over coming up. So far nothing has went right this season for these guys....they need a reason to feel good.

We heard a lot about RI's defense from the announcers, but Duke held a team that opened the year with four 78+ point games to 26 first half points.

The officials might have had access to a different angle too. Personally, I didn't think he got it off in time....but from the vantage point we had I don't see how they could overturn it.

With all the injuries and guys beat up on the court, logging big minutes I couldn't be happier with THIS team. It's going to get even better!

Real gutsy win today. The 5 starters just stayed strong. Don't know how they done it but my hat's off to all 5 of them for their will. Our free throw shooting was outstanding. Luke and Amile did what they had to do. Going to be hard to pick who gets the game ball between the two. If we can just gut out the next week and hopefully get a couple of these guys back. Grayson needs some rest for sure. MSU coming up in 9 days. Need our guys back then but healthy. OFC

WHEN DID WE GET SO GREAT AT DEFENDING THE THREE POINT LINE? Rhode Island shot 27.3% from 3 against us. IIRC, no team has shot better than 30% from 3 against us all season.

If we're going to defend like this from beyond the arc and THEN add our frontcourt depth..well, good luck. Also, we've scored 75+ points in every game as well, right? Man, I'll be glad when we are a complete team.

I don't know how much credit we give to Duke on that front, I've seen an awful lot of wide open threes taken by the other team that didn't drop. Still defense was much better today.
