I don't disagree....and I'm not trying to jinx. When healthy we're the best team. Hands down. But I don't think we're exponentially better than everyone else.
Lots of times the 'best' or 'clearly best' team hasn't won. It's happened to us before. Make no mistake, if Duke is going to reach their goal this season they will have to play really, really well to get there.
Absolutely. '99 taught Duke fans to understand that. Hell, '91 UNLV should have taught Duke fans that because Duke was on the other side of "best team ever".
I think I just get too excited for the possibility of greatness because historical greatness doesn't always come around, but despite "no true point guard" and "giving up penetration" and "poor November free throw shooting" and "too many white players" and whatever skeptical fans and haters try to point out, this team has practiced and worked to prove that they're the best. Regardless of what happens in March, we'll all be able to look back at this team in 10 years say "holy crap that team was monstrous".
