We have to start fighting through a couple of these screens. Idk if this is energy conserving but we can’t just switch every screen.
Good first half. Get some water and refresh. Next 20 minutes are going to be a grind.
Winning by 5 at the half without our starting PG.. I’ll take it any day.
I’m happy with a 5 point lead at halftime. We just gotta start the second half the way we ended the first half.
They seem to zero in on Bolden when he is out there on D. Doubling Zion should open up someone cutting if we can spot that early. Very one on one focused but a lead at half is huge.
37 points is the most Virginia has given up in a half all season. Let's do it again in the 2nd half.

I’ve about had enough of bilas’s slobberfest over va defense. Uh jay our defense is pretty good too. Just checking again but I believe we have 37 and they have 32.

I watched RJ a lot off ball screens. He gives up way to easy without trying to fight through and leaving Bolden on a island. I just want to see him put a little effort in it.
If they will keep missing from three, and we refrain from taking to many threes, we can win this. This is going about as well as Duke could hope. UVA has played about as badly as we could reasonably hope. Obviously, our D has a lot to do with that, but it is going our way so far.
We can’t expect UVA to shoot that poorly from 3 in the second half, we are going to have to keep the pressure on and keep attacking the rim. We still took 10 3’s that half and only made 2, we should cut it down to 5 or so in rhythm or not at all.
Solid 1st half, keep crashing the offensive glass and just play smart. We got this boys. Also, ZION F***ING WILLIAMSON. I love that kid man.
Tre makes turnovers and then delivers the assist. The team needs to attack the baseline.
Holding our own. A couple more of made 3's would have been big. How does UVA lure teams into their pace of the game both offensively and defensively. They are so patient with that. It's gonna be a battle in the second half. Got to score first, make a D stop and score again quickly. OFC
We are really tall and athletic...maybe one or two zone possessions could buy us some time and rest..a change up to make Hunter have to change his game
Virginia didn't shoot well from 3 (1 of 8), but they still shot over 50% from the field. They got some easy baskets on us...got to clamp down on that.

I support going zone till the first break of the second. Could throw UVA through a loop and let Duke get some breathing room.
