Agree, we look flat, and VT looks like they have much more energy than we have! We will really have to reach down deep to come back in this one as everyone seems to be standing around waiting on someone else to do something.

Definitely not as much. they were scoring on every play in man. about a 1/3 of the plays in zone. no way any defense is going to stop scoring at a 100%. We're back in this game because of the zone entirely imo. But our man defense has done it's job. It's given VT the confidence to believe they can win this game.

Tyus should never, never try to dish off to a tall player directly under the basket in traffic. The ball almost always gets fumbled away or knocked away.

We gotta stop giving them wide open looks from three. I've seen them make at least 2 or 3 this half where there wasn't a Duke player within like 3-4 feet of them when they shot a 3 pointer.

I told myself early in the year that the defense will improve as the season progresses but it just isn't the case. In the tourney, we will have to score to win. We won't have have the Defense card in the back pocket like UK. They could struggle offensively and still win running away. Makes me extremely nervous.

I agree. But we're very tired right now. You can see it all over the faces of our players.

If we get out of this with a win we're pretty fortunate. We also might need Quinn to make three or four more threes.

A lot of the problems on D stem from Oakafor. He is lost when put in pick and roll aituations and doesn't protect the rim. Throw in that are best guards aren't dynamic athletes and it causes major issues

Lord thank you for saying it. Sure didn't make a bit of difference when we beat Virginia at home.

This kid Hudson averages 5.8 Pts a game while shooting 20 percent beyond three pt line. Tonight he has 18 points and is 3 out 4 shooting threes.
