We finally got a stop. They had to miss two FTs, but it's a stop, nonetheless.

Now Jah has to make FTs again.

Not sure if he has any legs left. Don't think he's been out of the game in the second half.

The guards gamble to much and leave their feet leaving the corner open in the zone. Just not disciplined D.

Could 1K have JJ come in this weekend and do a free-throw session for the team? I'd feel a little better in March, I think.

I don't unstand struggling from the free throw line. He has good touch. He needs to take more time, instead of throwing it up like the guy from BASEketball that gets rudely awaken, by a foghorn.

Haha. Can't make this stuff up. Our best FT to the line and a brick. Luckily we will win though but I don't take much solace in it. Kudos to the resiliency of this team but I fear tournament success with our current trend defensively and at the FT line late in the game.

Yessss! Feels good to take someone's BEST shot away and get a W. Hard fought game and those happen all that matters is the final!

Dukiepride, I feel good as long as we can get past the first round. We crank it up about 10 notches vs ranked teams.

You can't blow everyone out. Although, I wish we would. So my wife wouldn't want to strangle me, and my dog would come out from under the bed!

I'm not to worried just a bad game. We haven't had many but this is certainly one and will be helpful I think!

I tell ya what... if I am in a battle with this Duke team and it's close, I foul Jah EVERY SINGLE TIME. Hell, I'd let him take fts every trip down the court. Will be a huge problem come March IMO.

I am elated that we won and we did play gutsy in the last couple of minutes but why is it that even though we won the game I feel like we lost the battle. I am so disappointed by our poor defense and piss poor FT shooting.

But like they say, it is what it is.

A win is a win, no matter the score. l'll take it because it didn't look good with about 2 minutes to in regulation.

I'm not ashamed of the win. These road games are tough, guys. And even though our defense was porous...VT had to knock down those 3's. Have to give them some credit because they were ready to play. And this team does have toughness in spades.

And I will say it again, is illegal screens illegal anymore? Between the NCST, Miami and VT games with threes a plenty and no illegal screens...
