Dumper has to squat for every pitch, run to first on every ball hit on the left side of the infield, prepare for 9 batters , and throw back every pitch not put in play. And he had more SB than judge. Nah, he was robbed.
He did. Only the 3rd player to win the batting title and hit 50+. Both had historical years. Hard to overlook the .247 BA, though each were deserving and had strong arguments.
Not the entire story, but when you hit almost 100 points higher that’s a fairly significant part of the story
Im just glad Judge wasn't batting for some record. I remember him from a couple years ago, and it ticked me off to have his games interrupt college football games.
