I have had the added blessing of being a Detroit Tigers fan. Therefore, I have also seen my team become the first mlb team to lose a division title when up 3 games with 4 to play. Also, the maddening tiebreaker loss to the Twins included a missed call of a bases loaded hit-by-pitch in extra-innings as a nice addition to the illegal forward pass and "holding" calls vs UH.
On top of all of that, the folks at the local Sonic forgot to put toys in the Wacky-packs for my two boys tonight. OK, so that last one wasn't that big of a deal, but still . . . what a 3 week run for my teams. One scholarship SEC QB, 3 DBs, and a couple of left-handed bats would make a huge difference in my sportsworld. Any other Detroit Tigers amongst us?
