WN over NV - Nequa lays an egg and Falcons play up! Way up! - homer pick
GN over LP - Vitorio 4+ TDs again
NC over NN - upset alert in original Naperville Cross Town Rivalry

WN at NV: I will take NV
NV is at home, healthy. Will they continue to play 2 to 3 guys both ways if they clinch the conference championship or will they rest them for the playoffs? I think they keep their two way guys going thru GBN game to try and go undefeated and get the best Seed they can for the playoffs.

LP at GBN: I will take GBN
GBN just too much for LP I think plus it's at GBN

NN vs NC neutral site: I will take NC
NN very good - but this is a rivalry game and anything can happen. NC needs to win two of the next three to reach playoffs and with that sense of urgency... they have abandoned the two platoon mentality and look to have 3 to 4 guys playing both ways. They were already getting better and better each week - I think this makes them that much tougher assuming the two way'ers get some breathers for a series or two. NC in a close one.

WWS at MV: I will take MV
MV still mathematically eligible for playoffs. WWS playing several guys both ways (including their QB) to be competitive and they just picked up their first win (hung 39 points and 435 yards of offense on WV) But that said - I think MV has just a little more talent, more to play for, and they at home.

WV at Hamilton Southeastern: Game is off Voodoo's board

WV averaging over 300 yards a game on offense with a low of 217 yards at NV game and a high of 432 yards for LP game. but are allowing almost 350 yards a game on average with a low of 256 yards at NV game and a high of 435 yards last week.at WWS.

WV has turned the ball over 12 times this year and only forced 3 turnovers from the other team. More importantly - in their 3 wins they only had TWO turnovers total. In their 3 losses? - TEN turnovers.

The good news? - Hamilton allows over 21 points a game
The Bad news? - Hamilton scores over 31 points a game.

Hamilton is ranked 8th in Indiana and has a very high powered offense. WV would have to eliminate the turnovers and outscore them in an offensive shootout to pick up a W.

Voodoo, you still coming down to Fishers tonight? Should be very good weather for football. Low 70's/high 60's around kickoff with no rain and HSE has field turf. You may want to leave as early as you can if you come. I-465 around the northside of Indy and I-69 through Fishers will be congested at rush hour with traffic coming out of the city and suburban office parks.

All but one of the teams that's scored well on Hamilton Southeastern have Power 5 or Cincinnati recruits on offense. HSE is very big and has speed at the skill positions. Their Safety is 6'3 and heading to Ball State. They have a 6'5 JR DE who will likely be a Power 5 level recruit. Their QB is 6'5, top WR is 6'4, and they have a receiving threat at TE who is 6'3. You'll see a lot of 6'2/6'3 200+ pound lineman.

Missed last week, was busy with relatives in town, didn't get to a game even and now the Cubs are playing tonight and it's my wife's birthday! No rest for the weary...

NV over WN, don't see the Falcons pulling this one off, NV should stay unbeaten.
GN over LP, Tricase won't be stopped but sure would like to see some work on the passing game also, we'll need that eventually in the playoffs, maybe they want him to break the single season TD record or something.
NN over NC, can easily see the Redhawks winning this one also but think NN will get back on track after last week's loss to NV.
MV over WWS, Tigers finally get a win at home last week but think it will be tougher on the road this week and MV needs the win more to keep their playoff hopes alive.
HS over WV, this is a really interesting matchup, would like to see the DVC team win on the road but from what I'm reading here they'll have to play a mistake free smart game to get the W. Taking the home team but for DVC/IL pride reasons hoping I'm wrong.

Ha...that's been a topic of discussion on Indy sports radio this week. Bulls fans have a history of splitting the crowd at Pacer home games. Bears fans are supposedly offering well above face to Colts fans who are holding tickets for Sundays game.

Bear Down and Go Cubs!
