i think the only reason i am not big on it is because it is change that isn't as spectacular like a massive jumbotron or a practice facility. hell i am just glad that this AD is actually trying to do something for the fans other than keep us in the black.
I'm sure you won't remember this, but a couple months ago when we were talking about changes to Davis Wade I mentioned I wished they would change the numbers on the field. A couple of you wise guys picked up on it and asked "change them to what?" One person suggested X, XX, XXX, XXXX, etc. Pretty funny.
But I'll be damn if the Ninja wasn't ahead of me on this one as well. The damn numbers....uh, fonts have been changed.
I tried to find some old pics....this is the only one I could find showing the numbers....and it is upside down, but take a look at the zero. In the old pic it is squared of at the top and bottom. The new pic above shows a round number.
It's amazing what one can get excited over, but those old numbers have been used since Dudy Noble walked the campus.

Edited to add....and you can't tell me that grass doesn't look better and I'm sure feel better to the players than artificial turf.
