You are given a choice thatMSU can win one and lose one between these two teams: Auburn and LSU. Who do you pick and why?

I say Win against Auburn, lose against LSU. Granted this seems ridiculous since LSU will be highly ranked and it would be a huge win for our program. However, I'm so used to losing to LSU that a loss to them really wouldn'tbother me.

On the other hand, we've had to endure two straight heartbreaking losses to those cheating douchenozzles at Auburn. A win over them would get a huge monkey off our team's back, and give me some ammo for the snarky Auburn fan I work with.

Have to pick Auburn in this one. As much as I'd like to beat LSU, the Auburn game is more important for our season. We need that win to get the momentum to carry us to 7-0. Lose that game and it deflates the fans and possibly the team yet again this year.<div>
</div><div>Now if you are talking a 2 game season then it would be LSU hands down. Or, if we played LSU in game 2 then it'd be LSU but within the context of this season it's Auburn by a mile.</div><div>

But if I had to choose between LSU and Auburn, I will takethe W over Auburn all day long. We play them early in the season and if we can get by them and UT during the first half of our schedule, we have a great chance at 7-0 along with some national recognition. Also, if we were to beat LSU it would only give Bama an easier path to the SEC/NCAA championship games. We should have beaten them the past two years, it is time to take them out. </p>

I don't think LSU, Alabama or Auburn will be improved over last season. In fact Alabama may not be as good on defense as last season and Auburn could be worse. On the other hand I don't think State will be worse. They will be better. Belive it or not I like our chances in all three. We play Auburn early at home. Great chance. We play Alabama between Tenn and LSU. Good chance they over look us. And you never know what bone head mistake or stupid call Miles is going to make. You just never know about those three games. Chance are we go 1 and 2 or 0 and 3but we do have a out side chance of going 2 and 1 out of those three.

If you get to pick two wins between LSU, Auburn, and UM, what do you pick?

Another one that should be obvious, and I'd choose UM to be the loss, but I would at least think about it. Yes, beating LSU and Auburn would mean a special season even if we lost to UM, but that would also be an indication that Freeze knows what he's doing and give them some hype going into next season. If it was just a fluke loss where UM was still terrible and we just literally didn't show up, it'd be a no brainer, even if it would be a tough loss to swallow.

Ole Miss - 31
Team that beat Auburn and LSU -30

I would take Auburn and UM as wins. The bad feeling of losing to UM after a great season would outweigh the good feeling of beating LSU.

Too important for early season momentum, gives us a little revenge for Cam, shuts up the Birmingham media who lead the "hasn't beaten a West team besides UM", and gives me bragging rights at church and (to a lesser extent) in the office.

if we can't beat this year's Auburn team at home then I give us basically NO chance to beat LSU in Baton Rouge. But I guess for that reason I'll take Auburn.
