Good to hear but as we know practice is a different animal. Hope his stamina is good but I have serious doubts. Izzo will try to make him work.
Michigan State runs a very effective curl half court offense resulting in shots made within five feet of the basket or fouls called against the opponent.The objective will be to tire Bailey and Harper and or get them in foul trouble.Rutgers has to play zone because Michigan State is a mediocre 3 point shooting team and can't afford to get Bailey and Harper in early foul trouble.
It's sad but I'm glad that I did not buy tickets for this game and I love going up to MSG.
Fans should know in the first five minutes Harper's stamina and quickness after only one day of practice.The sad reality is that Bailey likely has to score at least 30 points to make the game somewhat competitive.The absence of a third scoring threat will be apparent in this game.
If only we could have run any effective half court offense in the last couple of years
We will need to mix in some different zone looks to throw off MSU’s sets. I want to see that 1-3-1 we saw a little bit against Penn State, and some matchup 2-3 or 3-2.

Yep our 1-3-1 zone which is essentially 1 guy guarding 3 guards around the perimeter and they just pass to the open one for 3pt shooting practice
Yikes..was very surprised to hear Rutgers put out such a positive report..you just dont recover that wuick from ankle injuries
If he practiced yesterday I would be absolutely shocked if he didn’t play today at MSG.
