I know nothing on this kid. Per your info he seems fast. Do you think he is any good at football?

I went to school with his dad (he was older) and his dad was super fast.

Can't even imagine how fast he will be by his senior year.

4.53 40 time (probably hand held as well)

Dylan ran a 10.81 electronic time at the Track Classic at Norfolk Senior High track. Fast, but not 10.3 fast.

For you older guys like me that went to high school when races were measured in yards, take the kid's 100 meter time and subtract .9 of a second to see what the time would have been in the 100 yards. His 100 yard time would have been 9.9. That's very good for a 9th grade Nebraska kid.

Conditions were not real great for running yesterday. He ran the last leg of their 4x100 relay and made up a lot of ground to win it for them. This kid is going to be special.

His time of 10.81 would have been 2nd fastest time in 100 prelims @ Drake Relays. High School Division.

As someone who played in Nebraska Class C1 twenty years ago, I can't believe the caliber of football demonstrated by schools like Norfolk Catholic, Neumann, Scotus, Ashland - Greenwood, St. C, Boone Central, and others. The coaching, the execution, and talent on display at these programs is substantially better than when I played. I think these teams would slaughter the top class C teams from the 90s.

It would be interesting for sure. Maybe it's because you like to think your era was better than other classes, but when I attended a few of my schools games I didn't think they looked any better than us and they won a state title in C-1 with their best class, and we went 4-4 with our best class, although we played a lot of B schools. IMO, if you have a burner running back, you are going to have a chance to win a title at C-1 and below. The kid might be the weakest player ever but he will get plenty of yards just sprinting to the outside.

Leodis he is not weak in any form or fashion. The young lad is a stud and will only get better. Probably not going to ever be real tall but he has a ripped body and all the tools to go along with it

10.81 as a freshman is insane. Thats 14 or 15 years old. There's literally no reason to believe he couldn't be in the low 10s as a senior in college or better barring injury. Thats possible world class speed. It is most definitely in ahman green range and that is today. Ahman ran 10.61 as a bloody senior in high school

If this kid has any football talent at all he would be an asset in college. Exciting to see that in norfolk of all places.

Not talking about him. More a general comment on class C1 football in general. I know nothing about the kid but it looks like he's fast as hell.
