I am wondering if Stewart did this intentionally to take his $$$ and get off this Shanetrain wreck of a team. Now he can relax, train, care for his injured back and get ready to be a 2d round draft pick.

I don’t recall him being much of a discipline problem before. Then suddenly he is refusing to come out of the game, arguing with coaches and punching big white dudes in the head. Does not make sense to me.

It doesn't make sense to you because it's clear Dylan has had some sort of "mental break." - I do not believe Stewart planned all this out and then executed the plan on national TV. - If he didn't want to be out there playing for the "Shanetrain wreck" - he could've just kept milking the injury thing, go through the motions, and not play. --- Nah, something snapped in the kid. He needs help. That is clear to me. And I also don't think it was a "moment of hot headedness" - I think there's probably some things going on in Stewarts mind that are deeply troubling and he's feeling pressure and he snapped. - Maybe it's the draft thing. Maybe it's the $$ thing and his family counting on him, etc...maybe he knocked his GF up and no one knows yet. - Whatever it is, the kid is in trouble and needs to surround himself with good people that can help him help himself. I do believe our coaching staff are those good people.....even if they're pissed at him right now.

I too, do not think this was done "Premeditatedly" (i know maybe not a word) but look at that IDIOT QB from Vandy last year, Atitude means a lot to NFL scouts.. A stunt like this could cost him a round or two in the draft. Scouts, i am sure, already question his Health and durability...

He will be a difference maker at the next level once he gets actual coaching, in reference to the many comments y'all have made in other posts regarding the current status of our head coach...

Edit: Also remember that we love Alshon Jeffrey and he got thrown out of the Capital One Bowl for fighting - he still had a great NFL career and won a Super Bowl. And his name is plastered on the wall of our stadium.

He's probably suspended more for his blatant disregard of Beamer and the assistant coaches, refusing to come out of the game.

No player gets to ignore the head coach and asst. coaches, throw punches in a game and expect no consequences. I have to think there must have been a lot more that happened away from the cameras as well. Throwing a punch should/will get a player thrown out of a game, but usually does not get the player suspended. Arguing with the coach, showing no respect for the coach or coaches and having a general bad attitude WILL get a player suspended. I think Beamer has been kissing his a** and Stewart was of the opinion he was bigger than the team and Beamer and/or Donati decided to show him he is not.

Stewart has 1 solo tackle this season, no sacks and no forced fumbles. He isn't exactly a terror on the field this season so far.

I am in no way saying he shouldn't be suspended, I even said he should have been punished in my post. I'm pointing out the insane speculation everyone has thrown out and stating he's going to lose millions moving forward. What has Shane done to warrant no backlash from players? It is pretty clear that he does not rally the team or coaches to make adjustments in-game. No one here has any hope in him as a leader, why would it be different in the locker room?

He's played 43 snaps this year, in SEC games, and is essentially only a pass rusher, he's not going to have a high tackle count. But he draws double teams and holding calls. Our defense has a total of 5 sacks across 4 games with two opponents being the children of the poor. There really isn't anyone else on the line that other teams are worried about. I would be willing to bet our pressure drops without his presence in the game.

I cannot disagree with you that Beamer’s leadership, or lack thereof, is probably causing some issues with our players. These players work hard and are well paid to do this job, but they have no say in the system or the assistant coaches. Beamer is ultimately responsible for the coaches, discipline, the system and adjustments. Right now we are lacking in all of these areas.

Fair enough. Math says it will be 3 weeks before Stewart sees the field again. - Given what I think, that Stewarts meltdown went beyond "normal" and there's something else going on in his brain.... I think 3 weeks is a decent amount of time to evaluate if Stewart is following all the advice / directions of coaches, etc.... or if he still has a bad attitude towards everything. I think 3 weeks to evaluate is beyond fair to see some kind of remorse, regret, change, etc. If not, bye. That would be a total shame for all.

Correct! Beamer initiated the suspension. Donati had to approve the action since he interfaces with boosters/donors who pay $$$$ for Stewart.
