I think calls are a major culprit. Look at the calls after they went up 21-0. And then 21-7, 21–14.

And you can’t overhaul the roster at this point so you change what you can to try and spark things.

This has that 2023 feel on offense. You just hope the D can stem the losses.

Should not have mattered but I had a bad feeling when the half ended 21-7. After the Prescott interception in the end zone with about 3 minutes left in the half, I thought there was a good chance the Eagles could end the half with a FG and go up 24-0.

Still inexcusable to do nothing on offense the whole second half.

Roob didn’t think Patullo should have been allowed to finish calling the game today. He’s cooked. Done.

Amusing in retrospect how in the first half the announcers were convinced the Eagles offense had finally found itself and that there was nothing to see here. Brady was gushing about both the play calling and Hurts' performance.

Barkley stepped out on the Dallas 7 after getting a first down in the 1st half. He could have easily squared up and got to the five or 4 yard line. They ended up scoring but Postgame Live has pointed out that he is not only getting hit right away but is also running out of bounds a lot more.
Not targeting Jahan Dotson more than 1.5 times a game is stupid

I can only hope and pray JL isn’t involved. He’s the one that fired the DC in 2023 and gave us Matt Patricia. The biggest problem on O is, Tyler Skeen continues to get flat out blown up.
if JL fires the OC does Nick walk at the end of the year??? I think he’s sick of Howie n JL picking his coaches. He’d have his pick of jobs

I doubt Nick walks, but he’s utter shite at selecting coordinators. His track record speaks for itself.

Nick didn’t hire Kellen Moore. He did hire Patullo and Johnson. Loyalty doesn’t always work out and Nick is in a slump.

Howie needs to focus on OLine in the draft big time. Lane isn’t going to play forever, Jurgens can’t physically hold up because he just doesnt have a big enough frame to stay healthy, Dickerson is great but is almost always banged up and won’t last long I fear. The Oline is really living on past performance right now.

You picked on all except the problem, Skeen is haven’t a bad yr. As mentioned they need to go back to their zone scheme and ditch the gap scheme

Do the head coach and offensive coordinator not have plans B and C ready to go when the opponent's defense inevitably adjusts their coverages to what the Eagles have initial success with during first halves?

At Green Bay, Detroit, at Dallas. 2-1. Sign me up. BUT, they have to tweak the O. Playing the Rams in the nfc championship could be a repeat of the 49ers beating a few years ago.

so who is the fall guy for this? The OC? I think he is an extension of Nick. Vic? O staked him a 21 pt lead, and lead to a collapse. At the end , just sit back in deep zone and make them earn it. Jeff Stoutland? O line playing like crap, blocking schemes look suspect at best. May be time to retire. the punt returner? Heck they have Britten Covey on the PS, why not? its not like they need a WR. someone will be in the short term, and then how the rest of the season plays out, there could be more blow back.

I was wondering about that too. I understand that he is calling out blocking schemes by pointing out players on defense and then leans forward to get in his stance but it seems to me he should have to be set a second before the ball is snapped not while he is still leaning down to get in his stance. Not sure why this should be any different than a recover who is shifting having to be set before the ball is snapped.

they have had this problem, 2 weeks in a row. the backside 3 tech is giving them fits. I think they are using their gap scheme and need to get back to more a zone scheme.
Watch this play, if you can slow this down. The LG and LT pull to the left, the 3 tech is unblocked and flies up the field, the C tries to block back, but its a tough block. the 3 changes SB path and the play blows up. Jeff should know this. forget what Dan is saying, just look at this play.
