It's finally here ... the season opener, the unveiling of the Super Bowl banner at the Linc, and the despised (by Birds' fans) Cowpokes are the opponent.

I'm not sure if Google Searches is the best way to identify which team is being rooted for by the citizens of a particular state. But if the below is accurate, there are a lot of folks that are kind of confused.

In sheer numbers, there are probably more Cowboys fans than fans of any one other team.

Easing slowly out of the gate here... first beer will cracked at 7:45 albeit watching NFL Network and ESPN with all the pregame stuff on now.

Color me jealous. I’m meeting a buddy of mine about two hours away to watch the game. He’s a Cowboys fan. Then I get to go home and go to sleep right away to be at the surgical center for my vasectomy tomorrow morning.

The 1st part sounds like it will be good (minus the 2-hour component). The 2nd part, ouch, ouch, ouch. Hopefully, tonight's game will give you enough of a positive feeling to overcome the discomfort over the coming days.

Somewhat interesting that it appears that Mukuba is starting at Safety. Thus you'll have Mukuba and Campbell (LB) starting as rookies, and Jackson manning the CB position opposite Mitchell. If I'm Dallas, I'm attacking Mukuba and Jackson early, to see how they handle things.
