While I am sure it has happened in the past, there certainly seems to have been a large number of matchups (as well as matchups this week) this year which in themselves would have been worthy championship game contests. Any thoughts?
As much as I wanted to see 1-32 seeding, the way the seeds fell this year has created some match-ups that would have been great finals (or later round games), notably LWE vs. Lib, GW vs. MC, and LA vs. HF. Let's hope this year is just an aberration.
I always thought the 2002 QF (back in the day of the goofy quad system) between MC and CoM was championship worthy.
