he's eligible to play again when he's lost 30 pounds. He'll either quit or work out hard to get back ASAP.

Either way, it's completely up to Sidney.

Calipari did the same thing with Pierre Niles (Memphis player) about 3 years ago. Said if he didn't meet a weight requirement he was off the team for good. He went on to meet the requirement, but quit the following year.

"I can't dress out at all unless I'm down to 275. If it comes from Cal, you've got to do it," Niles said. "Once I get in shape, nobody will be able to stop me. But first I've got to lose the weight."
That's the challenge.

He isn't even going to be looked at by NBA teams if he doesn't get his stuff together. Somebody is going to have to figure out a way to make him work harder, or he will wind up in some league in the middle of no where, at best.<div>
