Stallions by as many as Dove wants, truths the truth, East and West Columbus have fallen from competitive football play in the county. It’s sad and I hate it, not sure what could really be done to fix it.

Combine the two and you might could have a 3 win season team.

1st string plays the first half and 2nd string comes in with a rolling clock. Stallions by a lot. Go Stallions!

As long as administration and fans put up with it ,want get any better. Kids at WC and EC need same chance as other schools in conf. I watched off. line this year and people it is terrible. No hustle at all coming on or off field. Not in shape. You might not win every game, but you can hustle and be in shape. Who fought would you say that is? Having said that South by 40 tonight over EC.

I agree completely, let the kids from west play at south and the kids at east play at whiteville or vice versa. Give them a shot at success and getting better at the game. Not sure if that’ll ever happen tho

That's not an unheard of idea. When Sampson County Schools began thinking about building two new high schools, they were going to combine Union and Lakewood into one, and Midway and Hobbton into another one, but residents fought that idea tooth and nail; thought the schools were going to be too big, which they would not have been. Both would have been 3A schools with Clinton remaining 2A.

Yeah I mean I understand the schools wouldn’t like the idea initially but they’ve gotta want more opportunities for their kids as far as football related activities go. Last year both schools barely had enough kids to field teams for games, and that’s sad.
