Both teams undefeated in the CPC….Thoughts?

My opinion is East has steamed rolled everyone in their path and it's going to be difficult to stop the Eagle Offense who averages 55pts per game while defensively, they are very good. Mt Tabor has a really good team and should be able to hang around. I'll take East 38-21.

Probably the same as the Grimsley- Tabor game. Tabor will hang around for a quarter or 2 and then East will pull away and win by about 20-24

On paper I would have East up by 3 tds similar to the Grimsley game, but it’s a conference rivalry game and anything can happen in the cpc. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tabor surprised East this game.

I agree with you. Tabor is a good team. But Grimsley and East are on a different level. Spartans can probably hang going into halftime and into the 3rd quarter. But by then, East just has too much and likely pulls away. Also doesn't help that Tabor played RJR on Monday night. They are not getting a full week of rest and preparation going into such a tough game.

Just saw where Mt Tabor QB Albright has committed to Davidson College. They also have Snook Peterkin- Va Tech, JayDon Blair- Notre Dame: these 3 have to play out of their minds to win this game.

Tons of D-1 talent on the field. East Forsyth's Bryce Baker(UNC Commit) has a great chance to start for the Tarheels next season as a true freshman. Some of us believe he's better than Grimsley QB Faizon Brandon(He’s also a year older than Faizon).

Interesting one on one matchup will be Notre Dame signee Tabor's DB JayDon Blair vs East top WR JP Gilchrist who is starting to get a lot of college interest..

I was going post earlier in the week on this game but decided not to. I know with this conference anything can happen and some of the best games is played. Sometimes these teams can surprise you. Tricky conference to predict sometimes.

I listened to the game on the radio. Sounds like Tabor needs to tighten up their pass coverage. Also, they killed themselves on their potential last drive. Very good kickoff return called back for a block in the back then started their last drive of the game with a false start 5 yarder. Simply aren't going to beat a team like East when you cost yourself so many yards.
