Thought we had that game in Death Valley won when he scored on the first play.

We should be more than halfway done with our 2012 class by the end of the weekend. I think we are expecting a total of about 5 or 6 commits at our Big Dawg Camp this weekend.

Read in an article that Grindle said it would be great if he and Alford ended up on the same college team. Is there any way possible we can pull them both?

His folks moved him to Petal for the baseball program. His father drives a truck for a logging company who has an employee that has hauled Alford back and forth to UM over the last year. Coach Hughes has made some in-roads with Alford but the parents are looking to hit the jackpot on the baseball lottery next year. The kid wants to play football and baseball somewhere. He is looking at LSU, USM, State, and UM. He has good grades but money is an issue with his family. They are pushing him toward MLB.

State could be in the hunt. USM will be strong because it's much closer to his folks than any of the other schools and the kid will need some of the local folks to help keep him focused if he goes to college.
