Not that im aware of. Not sure why they havent got with the times and had live stream available.EWCards do y'all have any way of watching your home games?
I hate East Wilkes changed there stadium i miss the old one where i could stand along the fence right behind the team...now there is a barrier and track in the way. Yuck. Is west Wilkes stadium remodeled too?
Yes. All Wilkes schools are redone with a fence barrier to keep you back away from the field.I hate East Wilkes changed there stadium i miss the old one where i could stand along the fence right behind the team...now there is a barrier and track in the way. Well that sucks. I wish schools didn't have tracks around them keeping you far away...if a parent or spectator wants to come to sideline bad enough that short barrier and track isn't going to keep them from coming lol
I guess I'll just have to yell louder to harass the officials.
If you can't take getting yelled at then u shouldn't sign up to be a coach i used to love fence walking...now I have to go to va games to do that lol
You know, matchups is something many often overlook. Everyone is quick to compare scores and say since team A beat team b by 20, and then team B beat team c by 20, team A is going to destroy team c. In cases that certainly holds up, but matchups often play a larger role than many think.I honestly don't like this matchup for Starmount. From a style perspective, I think EW will cause them some problems.
EW 28
SHS 21
If this game was played in the rain and mud, give me Starmount by 3 tds. On turf, small quick/speedy guys running all over the place for EW could be a nightmare for the Rams. You know, matchups is something many often overlook. EW also fast up front on both sides of ball. Not sure we are talking about dissimilar teams… im not so sure where people see the rams as having a stable of big workhorse plodding backs.. they have backs of similar size and make up as EW last time i checked… the offenses are vastly different… the qb’s are vastly different… but there are some similarities as well in their backfields.. i would give the overall speed in the backfield advantage to EW… but will it make the difference…. We shall see…. The Rams are traditionally tough on D!!
I mean, the Hernandez kid and the Propst kid are basically fullbacks. I would be surprised if Hernandez can break 5 seconds in the 40 yard dash. He has good vision and is tough to tackle but he isn't a threat to get out on the edge and make a house call from 80 yards out. I don't have a clue what their height and weights are, but the style of running is definitely "workhorse" like. If the rams have to punt a few times they might be in trouble. Punt stats are nothing to brag about.. that being said I know all 3 phases are extremely important but come on now hahaHow’s special teams? Starmount’s Rodriguez is almost an automatic touchback and averaging 44 yards per punt.
I think the ability to kickoff without a return is an advantage when having to play a team with speed. If the rams have to punt a few times they might be in trouble. Punt stats are nothing to brag about.. that being said I know all 3 phases are extremely important but come on now haha
And..all 4 of those kids will be on the field Friday night.Yeah i forgot about seeing those bigger kids in the scrimmage at Central… im gonna beg to differ and say that all four of those guys that were on the 4x200 track relay team that won the state championship for EW would be faster than the Adams kid… He will not be the fastest kid on the field.. that may go to Nash from EW..but… both teams should be really fast on the field.
Two missed extra pts and dropping a punt we had no business trying to field didn't have anything to do with your good kicker....but you definitely have a good one for sure.Ask Alleghany how important special teams are
