I thought they had something but I will eat my crow. They will come back tonight but no adjustments and secondary stinks. Put 10 in the box make Louisa pass. Defensively they will give up a big play. The secret is out. 12-7 Monticello second quarter. Mustangs won't hold on.

12-10 mustangs at the half. I did not say Lions lose but I was referring to a deep playoff run. Monticello is worse than W.A. Lions will come back but if they play like this vs Monacan or whomever they draw the first round they may not make it out. I had to leave at halftime work on Saturday a.m. stinks. I am off. If lions don't come back hoos maybe really fuming after this one. Lions problems up front has caught up to them.

I really did not see that and don't think that. I mean they were blazing two weeks ago. How can they change this quickly?

Not going to repeat myself, I stated everything in other threads.

And now Malik Bell might be done for the season.

Dont be a pessimist Hoo. The Louisa squad I saw had a plethora of weapons and a swarming defense. The problem is that they are now getting everyone's A game and must adjust to those hungry teams coming in looking for the win agains the #1 team in the district. I would hope the coaching staff realizes that opening up the passing game some will help soften the defenses that jam the box and compliment an already potent run game.

The team you saw against Powhatan has disappeared with a flick of a switch. Not much to do with what the other teams are doing, more to do with injuries and reshuffling the offensive line.

Football is a game of attrition, toughness, health and luck to some degree. This is going to be a lion problem for a while no depth up front in the future either.
