I talked a lot about Dan Mullen in a negative light this season, a lot of it was because I want Mark Hudspeth (a MS guy) to coach OUR team, but I was wrong about Dan not being able to get it done. He proved a lot to me, mostly that he is a good coach. When it came down to it and the teams back was against the wall they came through in two very hard fought SECW games in OT to become bowl eligible, and then they went out and blatantly forced their will upon Rice.

He is a good coach and he is great for our University. ESPN loves him and have eaten up pretty much everything we have done under him; saying nicknames like the Love Machine as an example. They love Dan.

Mullen has to do a lot more than beat a terrible Arky team, a mediocre Ole Miss team, and a ****** CUSA team before I change my opinion on him.

He's a decent coach. He isn't good, but he isn't bad.

He can't coach special teams, recruit, or make proper personell decisions.

I am fine with this honestly. Dan has made a lot of history at MSU -- which is not hard to do, granted -- but I still cannot wait for the Fighting Huds to take the field one day.

**** we probably win with Wilson still DC. In all seriousness, it was a great team win. Both the offense and defense played lights out. Even special teams played good.
