8. Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl. CLANGA versus Northwestern is one of the more dramatic culture clashes on tap in bowl season, but this presupposed the existence of Northwestern fans who will deign to travel to Jacksonville for any reason. ("Breckinridge is calling, and Sea Island is booked anyway, dear.") A passing team versus a rushing team, two large-headed aggro-males at head coach, and the kind of desperation gambling on fakes and playcalls one can only get between two teams who really, really need this second-tier bowl money.

The primary writers for Every Day Should Be Saturday have always liked us, and I really like the short write up that they have for our bowl. For the older folks on here, EDSBS is an awesome college football/COMEDY blog that is worth visiting every day. I became addicted when during the off season before the '09 season, they ranked the SEC quarterbacks by who would do best in a bar fight, and they had Tyson Lee at #4 because of the inherent ballsiness that comes from having to line up behind our offensive line.

I am not a fan either, but the content is still excellent. I suppose that in a month or two, I will get used to it, just like every other website redesign of every other website I frequent.
