Being the short rest, we will start a pitcher that didn't pitch this weekend. Perhaps Bravo. But he was shelled by Oklahoma 2 weeks ago. I seriously doubt we bring back our Friday night guy in Game 1. Usually, coaches hold them until the first elimination game.
One plus is OU pitching is not that great either. They are 7th in the conference in ERA. They are also 8th in fielding.
WVU needs to get base runners so they can manufacture runs. WVU can beat anyone in this conference but they have to score runs when they get somebody on. Can't leave them stranded. WVU has 5 players in top 10 for stolen bases. Jake Bennett is OU best pitcher and Hampton is WVU best.
