Yup, Brad Pitt even called it a dump at the end of Moneyball.Oakland, this is the day you face reality
Having that 3rd world stadium was an embarrassment
Actually, the A's appear committed to staying in Oakland. That was the first thing I checked today--from the East Bay Tribune.Maybe Oakland needs to wake up. This will kill the A's. Who is going to pay to clean up all the sewage in the locker rooms now that the Raiders won't?
I've been to 2 A's games in the past few years in Oakland and I actually didn't mind the stadium. Of course I was sitting 3 rows up from 3rd base for a game when they honored the players from the 30 year anniversary of their world series championship and then in a private box the next year. Old stadium but man it was pretty when it was full.Maybe this will finally allow the A's to flee to San Jose. They've tried in the past, but the Giants keep blocking the move. Time for MLB to break it to the Giants that they don't get to call all the shots all the time. The Bay Area can support two teams, but not when one of them has to play in that craphole.
The Raider fans in LA will make the trip to Vegas to watch before they will support the Rams or the Chargers.
