He will be respected in Nebraska if Riley succeeds and wins at least a conference championship. I don't think he will otherwise.
Unfortunately I suspect that is true. Many NU fans don't respect guys that do things the right way and treat people the right way. All that matters to many is the Ws. I guess it's true of many sports fans in general.
