Croom's salary is downright sickening compared to all other coaches in college football. All the man has been able to do is squeak out a Liberty Bowl in five years and he's in the Top 10% of coach's salaries. Hell, he may be in the top 5%

On another note, does Weiss really make $4.2M a year? I thought that Saban's contract trumped everyone else by a longshot.

the list that are higher than him are those of coaches who at one time have already proven their worth at some time in their careers, some over a long period of time. Also, it makes us look like even bigger fools when you think of what we're paying him as one listed on this hot seat and what it would cost to buy him out. It's unfortunate that Byrne was probably caught up in the wake of Templeton's decision to give him a considerable raise...there must have been a series of events (or comedy of errors) that led to his contract extension and salary raise.
