In what was considered Eli Manning's "breakout" year in 2007, he had a QB rating that shot him up to 25th in the league. Last year, he finished 14th behind superstar Seneca Wallace.
Take away Eli's last name and he is known as a pretty good NFL QB at best. You'd have to twist the stats to turn him into a Top 10 QB in the league, much less a Top 10 overall player. Becoming the highest paid player in the NFL is amazing.
Good work to his agent, though. Especially with this coming right after Eli's meltdown last weekend.
