May be Germans but on the crawl yesterday during the game espn was showing his commitment to us. What caught my attention is that they were reporting him a 4 star. I could have sworn scout had him as unrated. That is a huge discrepancy.

Did they have him commited to state? They must have thought it was Ole Miss or Michigan State to put it on their crawl.

Is still early guys, ESPN has him as a 4 star, Scout doesn't have him ranked yet. Scout also probably has guys ranked that ESPN has unranked at this time. You can't just throw a grade on a player, someone has to actually evaluate him, and when you consider the thousands of players in the country, there just hasn't been enough time. Thats what makes me laugh about people comparing recruiting rankings this time of year. The evaluation process isn't over yet. At this time last year, Chris Jones was a 2 star

We need to name Mullen the HC in basketball too. He's got the best two basketball commits for the past two recruiting seasons.

Correct. Has been on him since he was at Clempson.

He said that he would try to play both but eventually dedicate most of his time to the sport he feels like he has the best pro potential at, which he thinks at this point in time is football. Basically he's going to do what every other kid in America who wants to play two sports does... play 1 sport. We were apparently the only school that even entertained the idea though.
