I’m won’t know till tomorrow but things around here are probably going to get a lot worse, especially after what was just announced. You can’t even get into Elizabeth City from 17 S out of Va. They are redirecting traffic now

Yes sir, pretty much. Curfew at 7. My wife and I had to drive 45 minutes out of the way to get from Camden to EC just so I could get paint supplies. @rambbq you can believe me when I tell you we haven’t practiced, it’s 100% true. I have no reason to lie to you. You and Mule were extremely nice to us and I appreciated that. I want my team to win as bad as y’all want the Rams to, we just love our teams
Hate it for everyone involved..seems unfair but what can you do...I guess going from where you live to get here you have to go thru EC....can't make a back roads detour??
Seems like nchsaa would spend a little that 48 million and accommodate NE to practice.

Yes sir we all hate it but I think you guys are going to see one great game. I know NE had been practicing hard for the REIDSVILLE matchup even before the brackets were released.
As of "today" ( keyword) they have not practiced but one morning. Not to worry, the Eagles will be ready. They are playing for our city.
Yes all week I've heard. Goooooober up to his talking. Hes blowing all this out of portion, curfew is for the area where the crazies are protesting. Roads in and out of EC are open.
You do realize I live here. We own a business in the heart of Elizabeth City. Roads in EC are closed now, some businesses boarded up, highway patrol posted up at the county lines only letting certain people in. Curfew is for Elizabeth City only. Anyways this is a fb forum so I'll try my best to stick to NE/Reidsville.

Well if the NE Fans cant leave town how can the team leave town and make a curfew of 7pm?
US 17 was closed last night could not get in or out of elizabeth city yesterday
I agree with a earlier poster that the association should have taken the lead (it is preparation for their event) of this and made arrangements for the team to practice at a alternative site even if it required them remaining overnight somewhere. It doesnt have to be in a hotel; sleeping bags in a gymnasium/locker rooms/caferteria would be sufficient. It could have been done under the circumstances but too late now but its been a week now. Contingency plans should now be made if circumstance like this come up again.
Roads been closing about 5:00 pm in elizabeth city so we can get out before then
Ima be pissed if NE has to forfeit because they cant leave the city. I dont see how that's even legal. But I dont know much
But if curfew is 7pm everybody can leave but would have to wait till saturday to go back home right?

No sir but. I know you would. I'm trying to figure out a way around my work schedule. With it taking my whole day away it makes things more difficult. I have a couple of cars that have to be delivered Friday.
That's a good question, I haven't thought about that. I don't have to come back into EC because I'm over in Camden and can avoid the roadblocks
