All you ungreatful sons-ah-bit*%$ are obviously oblivious that Ellis Johnson and his defense MADE our season last year. Our offense once again couldn't do ****! It was basically like dejavu... like when smoot and bean were here and the defense scored the majority of the points for us. I for one am not pleading the case of Ellis Johnson becoming our head coach because I don't think we need a former defensive coord. as a head coach. Just sayin...give credit where credit is due and respect the guy for the job he did! All you croom lovers need to move on. Ellis Johnson knew trouble was brewing and didn't want to be associated with the crap that was going on. And wah-la! We took a nose dive this year..surprising huh?? People want to act like the last years of the Jackie Sherrill era were so bad...and all the players were thugs. Well..croom is a "good guy" and has built "character" right? He has left the program worse than when he came in.
I for one, went to the egg bowl...sat through the whole thing disgusted!! That's the most embarrassed of an MSU football team that I've been in ALL OF MY LIFE!!!! It takes character to win 21 games in 5 years...what a "good" guy! Cut the ******** guys...I don't know about everyone else, but I prefer wins over losses! So, once and quit 17ing whining about Ellis Johnson being the head coach (he'd be a better hire than croom) and respect the fact that Byrne WILL NOT let us down...he has proven that already. Took alot of balls to fire Polk and the "first minority" coach in the SEC for whatever that is worth.
