Musk has given Trump more than a fair shake up to now. If Musk ditches Trump because Trump ditches Paris then I don't think Musk will catch grief for it on the whole.

Trump needs to stop alienating people if he wants to succeed.

What about those of us in favor of pulling out of the PCA? Staying in would alienate us.

As the polls show, the numbers of who he is alienating and who he is not isn't working for him. He needs to broaden his appeal.

Elon Musk BTW has nine million Twitter followers and is singlehandedly revolutionizing the car industry and the space industry (along with his companies I mean). He has some sway and he has stuck with Trump thus far, taking some heat in the process. Believe it or not, if Musk dumps Trump it will affect the way lots of people think about Trump.

Trump doesn't seem to get that having the power of the office isn't the be all and end all. How you use it is what matters. Just because you're POTUS doesn't mean people will like whatever you do or you can do whatever you want without consequences.

I Pray that Trump could give a rats *** about Musk. I hope he cares for more about the country.

A huge flaw in your reasoning. I doubt that many of Musk's followers are trump base voters.

If he pulls it, lots of blowback will follow.....good. All will be undone in the next admin.

The next administration, whoever they are will not sign a treaty on the Paris climate accord. Obama sure as hell didn't because he knew he would never get the votes.

Even energy companies are criticizing trump for pulling out.

Yes energy companies worried about their institutional investors that cower in the face of green activists.

When the worlds biggest emitter of CO2 will decide on their own what to do and when to do it, it is not an agreement, it is a travesty.

And as time rolls on, our population will grow, along with a bigger waste footprint. With that will be more action to minimize environmental stress, so any immediate actions to loosen environmental policies will be short lived. Biff's actions are temporary.

LOL..... people worried Musk might leave advisory council because Musk supports a "treaty" that puts him position to make billions.

That's fresh....
