With Rick Stansbury:
PG-Gray-very talented and gym rat - CAN'T FIND ANYONE TO GIVE HIM A SCHOLARSHIP NOW THAT WE CUT HIM LOOSE.
SG-Sword-AL POY and also great talent - ON BOARD WITH RAY
SF-Hood/Pollard-You will not convince me otherwise that Stans would have done would it took to keep him and throw in the Mcdonalds AA - NO AND NO. HOOD ALOMST LEFT BEFORE HE EVEN SET FOOT ON CAMPUS AND THEN AGAIN IN MIDSEASON. IF POLLARD WAS EVER GOING T SIGN WITH US HE COULD HAVE DONE IT IN NOVEMBER

no one can say 'what' would have happened if Stans had been given another year. Not me; not you, not anybody. BUT these are 'considerations:'
- Gray seems to be 'more talented' than our 'new' PG and he had already signed with Stans. Last I saw, he committed to Texas Tech; so, guess we will see 'who' was/is the better PG.
- Glad Sword, AL POY, is coming BUT Stans recruited and signed him.
- Hood gave every indication that he was coming back 'before' Stans left and even tweeted 'he was coming back to lead the team.' Again, NOBODY can say 'if' he would have come back.
- Pollard has been recruited by Stans for years since he was in Jr high; had us in his 'final' three BEFORE Stans left. Your statement that 'if he was going to sign with us, he would have done it in Nov' is pure biased speculation. HE DIDN'T SING WITH ANYONE IN NOVEMBER. He has told EVERY school that he wasn't going to sign in November, so we were still in his final teams UNTIL stans left.
I support State, no matter 'who' the coach is and really hope that Ray gets us back to the dance. And, I hope Ray and staff recruit the talent to get us there. One thing that Stans did better than any other MSU coach not named Babe was to bring in talent. He was a tireless recruiter since he joined Williams staff ~20+ years ago.
