EMT said no one was assisting the girl when he arrived.Principal RoseAnn LaCioppa wrote in a letter to parents of the school, "I want to reassure you that our school personnel has been trained in response to emergencies and we will always follow all protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of all our students."
Lol. This blatantly false CYA talk kills me.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where people will sue for just about anything. I mean an aunt sued her 8 year old nephew for breaking her wrist while giving her a hug. This after his parents had just died.My wife is a nurse practitioner. Back in Feb. she was driving to an off-site clinic and had to stop for a a bad accident on the interstate. She was the first civilian on the scene and ended up providing aid & deciding which patient would go on life-flight. Pretty intense stuff.
The next day at her work she got called in to talk to the hospital lawyer. They wanted to make sure that her actions were provided as a good samaritan and not as part of the hospital. No concern for her well-being, just CYA. This is the world we live in.
