Oh no no, don’t play that game. I already gave you a response based on both first-hand experience as well as statistics. Nothing logical came back. Let’s call a spade a spade, shall we?

I don’t need to point out that 9/11 happened in my backyard and beat my chest and blame Bush for it

You seem to be slow.

You made a comment about not going to Europe because of being in danger.

I pointed out that there is plenty of danger here.

I also pointed out that I have first hand experience with exactly that danger. In some circles, first hand experience matters.

And yes, I pointed out that Republicans ran stuff... right after a comment about the Democratic mayor of NYC being a commie or something.

And this crap above was your response?

Word of advice:

When one of YOUR PLAYERS feels that he is in danger of dying, and has had his family essentially kidnapped by a vengeful dictator, and all because he rightfully spoke out against said dictator... SUPPORT YOUR DAMN PLAYER,.

FFS. This shouldn’t be hard.

Tell me about your experience.

If you served in the Middle East, a bit of your experience would likely be appreciated by all. Both the good and the bad. First hand accounts from people with experience do, actually, matter... or they should.

It is all fear mongering.
It is all fear mongering.

Fear mongering would be making people afraid based on nothing.

You, being intelligent, know very well that actual bad things (by the thousands, tens of thousands) happen in Europe, yearly now, at the hands of Muslim “immigrants”.

Please tell me again how that’s fear mongering. I’d be glad to know.

They always name-call. It is their way of inserting themselves above those who they fear. They are phobic. Demonize your opponent because it makes them easier to first isolate and then "deal with."

I did a search and no jcrow10 has ever served in the military. Dont let some guy hiding behind an internet alias use that to knock you off stride. Its all stolen valor unless he wants to reveal his actual identity. "jcrow10" didnt serve anything but BS. Whether the guy behind the account did or not is open for proof.

So...

Guys make huge generalized statements about entire continents and countries.

People with first hand experience both with these continents and countries and the very people in question point out that they are huge generalized statements.

Annnnd the issue is... with the people who pointed out the issue. For making generalized statements.

Some of you are a rare breed.

Whatever man, you do you.

Let's try this again, for the people who have trouble reading:

I do hope those of you who can't do this weren't part of the whole Free Enes thing.

Your side not only live in but fully constructed the glass house. You have a lot of nerve to accuse "us" of generalized statements when you are on record as supporting the generalization that every cop is out to kill black folks. Lets not veer off into the generalizations that white = racist or man = misogynist or all the other isms or phobias that those on the right are accused of daily. We are not the snowflakes in need of a safe space.

What in the... wait, what? I'm on record doing WHAT? At no point in the HISTORY OF HUMANITY did I support that statement. Why on earth would I support some insane statement like that? Jesus, talk about invented ********. You think all white people are racist?! Nobody thinks that except nutjobs. All men are misogynists? Where on earth are you coming up with this? Plenty of men aren't at ALL (especially the ones with happy marriages!) Snowflakes and safe spaces? My side? What side?

At no point has any of that even come up. Dude, you are rustled as HELL, and seem to be just spewing totally random invented angry propaganda statements that have no bearing on the thread.

Kanter is a UK guy. Your response should be "****, I hate this for Enes and his family." Hell, that should be your response to ANYONE who speaks out against a dictator and gets punished for it.

Maybe someone else was posting on your account in my topic where Nike support for Kaepernick vs None for Enis went on for several pages. You supported the BLM protest against the police via kneeling Kaepernick did you not? Why support a guy making an "insane statement?"

Who says all men are misogynists? Basically the entire metoo code pink movement. All white folks are racist? The white privilege movement.

There certainly is some truth inside a generalization. I support Enes. His fear is valid. If Russians can reach out inside GBR to kill dissentients then its not a stretch to think that in a city with a radical Muslim Mayor.... that Turkey could pull off a similar act.

I support Kaepernicks right to kneel in peaceful protest. I support people's right to disagree with him. I DON'T support people going off the rails with hatred. And I don't remember ever seeing Kaepernick saying that every cop is out to kill black people. Care to provide a link? Because I can provide some that literally point out the opposite:

"...rogue cops that are allowed to hold positions in police departments, not only put the community in danger, but also put the cops that have the right intentions in danger by creating an environment of tension and mistrust. I have two uncles and friends who are police officers and work to protect and serve ALL people."

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...kaepernick-releases-statement-regarding-socks

So, not only did I never support a statement that all cops want to kill black people, but Kaepernick never said it. Whoops.

Who says all men are misogynists? Basically the entire metoo code pink movement.

Wow. That's not true at ALL. I know a LOT of pretty liberal women. A few REALLY liberal women. Not ONE of them has EVER said that all men are misogynists. EVER. ****, they are all married to men.

All white folks are racist? The white privilege movement.

Nope. Not one normal rational person has EVER said that. You don't seem to have any understanding about what the term "white privilege" actually means. Hell... I'm white. I'm not racist. I've benefited from white privilege. Whoops.

There certainly is some truth inside a generalization. I support Enes. His fear is valid. If Russians can reach out inside GBR to kill dissentients then its not a stretch to think that in a city with a radical Muslim Mayor.... that Turkey could pull off a similar act.

You were with me up until radical Muslim Mayor. That's stupid. The mayor of London has shepherded the city though many attacks. He isn't a radical. He is just a muslim. He has literally said "All Londoners, like me, utterly condemn all acts of terrorism on our city. The response of Londoners today shows that we will never be cowed, intimidated or divided by any terrorist attack." The guy supports gay marriage. That's hardly a radical Islamic stance. Or are you under the impression that all muslims are radical?

That's a LOT of lies and crazy generalizations you've got going on there. I get the feeling you aren't too well educated, given that you don't know that the mayor of London isn't a radical Muslim and you don't know what the term "white privilege" references and the like, and really don't get out much or interact with people who are different than you, given that you have some bizarre idea that all women who support a movement of acknowledging and trying to end sexual assault think all men are sexist or whathaveyou.

Nice try. His PR release regarding "pigs" socks has nothing to do with refusing to stand in protest during the national anthem. Whoops.

You've benefited from "white privilege?" That tells me all I need to know about your ideology.

Educate yourself as to Kahn's "early years" and to those with whom he surrounded himself. Your ad hominem as to my education...lets just say I have nothing to prove to you. I am also well traveled outside the US so again you can broad-brush all you wish.

I guess I can say this in the Paddock. I was trolling the LilBros who read the Rafters, planting a seed that Pitino didnt take the job because he is under FBI investigation and cant leave the country. I never believed he'd actually take the gig...so if he declined...I was going to troll them with the FBI is not done with them. He took it so oh well. But our PitinoUK apologists like you felt compelled for some reason to defend Pitino's honor. Pitino certainly appreciates your continued support.

Nice try. His PR release regarding "pigs" socks has nothing to do with refusing to stand in protest during the national anthem. Whoops.

I don't remember him ever saying "every cop is out to kill black folks" which is what YOU said I was ON RECORD (maybe you don't know what that means?) as supporting. I don't remember me ever supporting that. So either you were just wrong, or lying. Whoops.

You've benefited from "white privilege?" That tells me all I need to know about your ideology.

No no; it's not about ideology.

When I get pulled over by a cop, I'm not worried. Black guy? More worried.

When I go to the bank to get a loan, I understand I'm more likely to get it. Black person? Less likely to get it.

When I put my name on a job application, I don't have to worry about my name making me less likely to get the job. Black people? More issues.

When I am walking around the street, I am not worried about getting randomly stopped and searched. Black people? Not as much.

Being a white guy, there are certain ways that society deals with me that is different than it deals with other people. EVERY group gets treated differently... white people tend to get it, speaking in overarching grand terms and not on the individual granular level, better than the rest in those ways.

Now, you and I didn't create this. It's decades, even centuries, of underlying biases, some conscious, most assuredly not, some tied into practical reality, most not. It doesn't make me racist to benefit from it. It doesn't make ANY white person racist to benefit from it. But it exists. And if you don't know that, or you think recognizing it is some BAD thing... well, that's as good a sign of lack of education and awareness of the world beyond yourself as any.

Educate yourself as to Kahn's "early years" and to those with whom he surrounded himself.

I'm well educated in it. What proof are you going to offer... that he spoke on the same stage as someone who published a book written by a Holocaust denier? That he has done work with organizations that are pro-Palestinian? Hate to break it to you... most Muslims side with the Palestinians. That isn't radical. ****, my mothers side is Jewish, lost a huge chunk of the family in the Holocaust, and yet when my cousin (a Jew) did a two year photography project in the Palestinian territory she came away horrified by how the Israelis sometimes treat the average Palestinian. Don't tell me you are one of those morons who believe those made up stories that he defended the 9/11 terrorists or something, are you?

I don't think you actually know what radical Islam is, and my guess is your "education" is the Daily Caller.

Your ad hominem as to my education...lets just say I have nothing to prove to you. I am also well traveled outside the US so again you can broad-brush all you wish.

First off, I don't just mean outside the US. You live in town with a lot of people from a lot of different backgrounds? You interact with them? How many black people did you deal with last week? How many Muslims do you think you interacted with last week? My guess is "none" given that you seem very, very quick to make huge generalized statements about groups. Those of us who are around different people... we realize, very quickly, that the VAST MAJORITY of people are the same... decent, caring people who want to do right by their family and community and live a good life. You gonna disagree with that?

Second, I call BS on your "well traveled outside the US" claim. Gimme some background; the thread started off with someone calling out England, Germany, Belgium, and France, right? As places that are so dangerous that people can't even visit there, couldn't PAY them to do so. So, how long have you spent in each of those countries?

You broad-brush with the best of them.

Oh no no; at no point did I broad brush. I'm talking about YOU, and YOUR dumb generalizations and lies. You lied about what I am "on record" supporting, you lied about the entire #metoo movement thinking all men are misogynists, you lied about the mayor of London being a radical Muslim, you lied about all people who recognize white privilege being racist against white people...

I mean, when it comes down to it, nearly everything you've written is a hyperbolic lie.

Now, I am actually able to look at most sides, and even AGREE with points from most sides. I know there are massive immigration issues in Europe. I know there are problems with terrorism around the world. I know that there are people who hate all policemen, and people who think that white folks are all racist. Thankfully, ALL of these examples are FAR more the exception than the norm, and most sane people recognize that. Your repeated lies certainly aren't going to contribute to any meaningful discussion of these issues.

Really, we can leave it... you and I both know this isn't going anywhere productive.
