Ehh, not crazy about that hire. He's an East Coast guy, as far as I know. Seems like the athletic department at USC loves to 'buy high' on coaches.

Eh, all he has to do is put on a film of FGCU's first 2 tourney games. He plays a style that will appeal to the SoCal AAU scene. Get 2-3 of those guys per year and he'll be in the tourney far more often than not.

You knew this was coming. In addition to the 10X salary, you know the wife will be happier in LA then Fort Myers. Most people in the spotlight don't go from getting that much attention to none and do it well. There's spotlight aplenty in LA.

Hell the Lakers might steal him. He was coached under D'Antoni and a few other NBA guys. He has a free flowing NBA style.
