he's better than any QB we've had since 2001. Moulds certainly helped his numbers in 1994 & 95.

#31 is in the air and the top of his head is still below Moulds's ***. That had to be at least a 40" vertical jump.</p>

That was the sickest I've ever been over a loss, primarily because the Moulds effort was wasted.

Damn Alabama.

Remember a great catch from him that year (looked like the ball would be INT'd but it stayed up & he went up & got it).

1993 Egg Bowl- Flea flicker from Todd Jordan to a wide open Moulds- TD.

1994- Tennessee- Fourth down and long, and Taite makes a bad pass, and Moulds leaps up, catches the ball, and then gets the first down.

1994- Alabama- Taite just throws one up in the air, and Moulds takes it off of his shoe tops, and then outruns Bama's D and gets in for a TD.

1994- Alabama again- From picture above. Moulds leaps on top of Bama's CB's shoulders and then catches a ball that it looked like Taite was maybe trying to throw out of the back of the end zone.

To me & my Alabama guest, it looked like the ball was underthrown initially. He & I both were thinking INT. Ball just seemed to hang up there & Moulds went & got it.

Taite is the reason Moulds made it to the NFL. Moulds NEVER had a pass hit him in the bread basket while at MSU. Every catch he made was a circus catch where he could show his ability.

Don't forget a 1-handed catch in the back of the endzone against U Memphis State U.

"It was the talent and that is what you look at," said Jordan. "If you look back at Coach Sherrill's teams, he always seemed to have a guy go in the first round of the (NFL) Draft or the second round. I remember before Eric Moulds came to school, he kept saying that if we get this certain guy then he will be one of the best ever to step on campus. Coach Sherrill knew talent and could spot it and he was right on target with Moulds."

Moulds wasn`t THE big time receiver recruit in the southeast that year and everyone kept asking Sherrill " what about so and so "(I can`t remember who was consdered THE receiver recruit that year) and Sherrill would reply every time that if he could get his guy (Moulds) we would all forget the other guy and damn if I didn`t do just that. The Kang was something else.

was that Taite was just trying to throw the ball away. And then suddenly Moulds catches it.
