Does anyone know the record of the ESCC teams vs the CCL teams when they play against each other this year.

I figured this would be quite interesting.

Mount Carmel only has Marist and Viator on their schedule so 1-0 so far for them..

Ah, what the hell? I have some time to kill tonight.

Loyola: 0-0 (TBD: Benet, MCC, Marist)
St. Rita: 2-0 (W: JCA, MCC, TBD: Marian, Benet, ND)
Montini: 1-1 (W: Viator, L: ND)
Providence: 1-1 (W: CoM, L: ND)
St. Laurence: 0-3 (L: JCA, Naz, Benet)
De La Salle: 0-2 (L: Benet, Naz)
DePaul: 0-2 (L: CoM, Marian, TBD: JCA)
Leo: 0-2 (L: Pat's, Naz, TBD: ND, Marian)
Joe's: 0-2 (L: Viator, Marian)
Marmion: 0-0 (TBD: Viator, JCA)
Iggy: 0-2 (L: Benet, JCA)
Fenwick: 0-3 (L: Naz, JCA, Marist, TBD: Pat's)

ESCC teams vs CCL
Marist: 1-2 (W: Fenwick, L: BR, MC, TBD: Loyola)
ND: 2-0 (W: Providence, Montini, TBD: Leo, Rita)
Naz: 4-0 (W: Fenwick, StL, Leo, DLS)
Benet: 3-0 (W: Iggy, DLS, StL, TBD: Loyola, Rita)
Viator: 1-1 (W: Joes, L: Montini, TBD: Marmion, Mt. Carmel)
Pat's: 1-0 (W: Leo, TBD: Fenwick)
CoM: 1-1 (W: DP, L: Providence, TBD: BR)
MCC: 0-1 (L: Rita, TBD: Iggy, Loyola)
Marian: 2-0 (W: Joes, DP, TBD: Rita, Iggy, Leo)
JCA: 3-2 (W: StL, Fenwick, Iggy, L: BR, TBD: DePaul, Marmion)

Overall: ESCC leads 18-7

What does this tell us? Well, (1) the bottom of the ESCC is stronger than the bottom of the CCL, (2) JCA's only plays one ESCC team which is strange and (3) I have too much time on my hands.

Based on these with the TBD games, I predict the final will be
ESCC- 25, CCL- 15. ESCC you can have St. Joes back....

Total record really means nothing. I think most people could tell you the bottom of ESCC still has some quality football programs. CoM was a perennial top 10-15 team not too long ago, Viators has had some excellent teams and Pat’s has been a playoff team.
The bottom 6-7 teams of CCL haven’t competed in quite some time.

Plus you have to look at how the teams were divided in 2019. For example: most of the really good CCL teams got bunched up together in the same division(s) and are beating on each other, verses beating ESCC teams. Whereas the better ESCC teams are playing average to above average CCL teams this year (more than the other way around).

The actual record between ESCC & CCL teams does not really show how well the previous conferences are doing head-to-head this year.

I hope that made sense. :)
